Meital is a Mechanical Engineering major at Rutgers University. After seeing the need for something that could gather Halachic opinions on the specific questions of college students, she started putting together A College Student's Guide to Halacha. Besides coordinating and translating our rabbinical responses, Meital keeps the entire team on track. She enjoys reading, painting, gardening and thrifting. Meital's favorite Torah commentator is the Rambam.

She ensures any text you read, on our sheets or on our website, is clear and concise. Rayzel enjoys practicing martial arts, reading, and Israeli dance. Her favorite Torah commentary is the Ramban.
Yavneh Coordinator
Efraim Kooijmans
Efraim is double majoring in Finance and Economics at Rutgers University. He joined because he wanted to help provide a practical and helpful source for learning how to live as a Jew on a college campus. He strongly believes that the challenges of attending a secular college should not stop people from practicing halacha. Efraim secures our funding from Yavneh, so we can build a website and a community. He enjoys hiking and skiing. One of his favorite Torah commentators is Ramban.
